National Older People’s Day, the Natural History Museum of the Natural Science Society will be having a special opening on Thursday 30th September from 2.00 – 4.00pm.

They will be holding guided tours at 2.00pm and 3.00pm and refreshments will be available.  The museum is a fascinating place to visit and I urge to you pop along and see what amazing things they have on show.  For more information, please see the attached flyer.

Boscombe Chine Gardens is ‘Best Park’ in the South and South East
Boscombe has been presented with another award in 2010 – this time for the excellent quality of its gardens.

Boscombe Chine Gardens received a Gold award (scoring 92 points out of 100) and was judged to be the ‘Best Park’ in the South & South East in Bloom competition, sponsored by Southern Water.

Panaca in Mind We are an informal, self-help group supported by Dorset MIND.  We provide support for people who suffer from panic attacks, phobias and related anxiety states.  Our aim is to provide a supportive environment in which people can find ways to improve their lives.  Friends, family and carers of people who experience anxiety are also welcome.
