Artist Commission



Artist's Commission An experienced artist is sought to create a 2D artwork for a large retaining wall on the Westbound platform of Pokesdown for Boscombe railway station in the Borough of Bournemouth . Community consultation will play an important role in this commission, during the project's concept design stages. The final work produced will be that of the artist.

The commission fee is £4000 and installation of the work is expected by 1st September 2010. The artist's contract will be with Bournemouth Borough Council's Libraries and Arts Team as part of the Information, Culture and Community Learning Unit.
