LISA NORTHOVER IS LIB DEM PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATE
FOR BOURNEMOUTH EAST

Bournemouth Liberal Democrats have selected local campaigner Lisa Northover as the Prospective Parliamentary Candidate (PPC) for the Bournemouth East constituency in next years General Election.

Councillor Northover (née Wilton) was brought up in Southbourne and educated locally at St Katharine’s and then St Peters Schools. She is a Councillor for Boscombe West and a well-known local campaigner. As well as her council responsibilities, Lisa is involved in many community groups. And she still makes time to perform alongside her children in Bournemouth’s popular Coda Orchestra.

Lisa said ‘I am delighted to have been selected to fight for the people of Bournemouth. I would like to say a big ‘thank you’ for the support I have had from so many local people.’

‘I was brought up in Bournemouth and I am bringing my own family up here too. I am passionate about Bournemouth. So many people I speak to want to see change in parliament and they want a local person to speak up for them at Westminster.’

Commenting on Councillor Northover’s selection as PPC, Chairman of Bournemouth Liberal Democrats, Dr Andrew Fitzpatrick said ‘Lisa is just what the people of Bournemouth are looking for as MP. She is Bournemouth through and through and she wants the best for our town. Her record of taking action on behalf of local people from all walks of life is impressive. At Westminster she will always be a champion for Bournemouth.’

Lisa is asking everyone who wants a fair deal for Bournemouth people to get in touch with her:
