St Clement?s Church, Bournemouth: Open Day


Heritage Open Day: St Clement?s is a Grade 1 listed building designed by the architect Seddings. Conducted visits up the tower, music and drama performances and a display of vestments throughout the day. Refreshments available. Sat 12 Sep:1000-1700. Free Entry.




Boscombe Community Fair 14th Boscombe Community Fair over the weekend of September 11-13 in Kings Park. a full programme of events, music, theatre, art gallery, kids activities, arena events ? including the famous Boscombe Dogs Show




Parking refund scheme Boscombe is about to become the only part of BOurnemouth to have a parking refund scheme. Shoppers will be able to claim a refund from participating stores




Bridge closure Ashley Rd You may be aware that the bridge in Ashley Rd is due to be replaces over the coming weeks. alternative routes and schemes including park and ride should be in place to help residents over this time. more details will follow.




Over 18, not in work, and like football? Football Futures is a free course held on Thursdays and Fridays at Dean Court Stadium. The courses starts on October 1st and is a 2 day a week, 12 week course to gain: recognised qualifications, FA Level 1 coaching certificate, First Aid Certificate, Computer Training, Workshops- CV's etc, Guest Speakers and a Free Kit!

The Bournemouth Natural Science Society will be holding its annual Open Days
over the weekend of 12th / 13th September. This is an opportunity to look round this beautiful 1880 listed building and view the amazing collections accrued by the Society during its 106 years of existence. There will be eight rooms packed with wondrous specimens from our Egyptian mummy to Dinosaur footprints. This includes special exhibits in the main hall. Experts will be on hand to explain the exhibits and discuss related items. The beautiful garden will also be open.


Times: 10.30 a.m. - 4.00 p.m. Entrance is free (although donations would be appreciated).


Refreshments are available. A bargain membership offer is available to visitors. Limited disabled access. Some car-parking. Children must be accompanied by responsible adults, please. No dogs.


The building is near Derby Road bus stop at 39 Christchurch Road, just a 10 minute walk from Bournemouth rail station.

Butterfly Foundation works with male and female survivors towards raising awareness of domestic abuse. The Foundation encourages members to access their creativity and express their emotions and experiences through visual arts and drama.
