Funderworld is back in Boscombe, Kings Park: 13th August - 31st August 2009 Open 2.00pm to 9.00pm every day

BOURNEMOUTH NATURAL SCIENCE SOCIETY Don't miss our Saturday morning openings each Saturday in August. The museum will be open from 10:00am to 1:00pm with special hands-on activities planned for each day. 15th August - Ancient Technology -  Flint knapping and other technologies

Fireworks Bournemouth is hoping to attempt a world record 110,000 fireworks in less than 60 seconds onThursday 20 August at 9.30pm. This is to open the Bournemouth Air Show. Great view from Boscombe beach!
(Fireworks also on Friday nights through August)

Recycle your batteries by binning them! Special collection bins have been installed at the Littledown Centre, Stokewood Road Leisure Centre, all libraries and the Council?s Southcote Road Depot as part of the Council's Go Green Campaign. Any battery of between 1.5 and nine volts can be dropped into the containers where they will be collected free of charge by contractor BatteryBack and taken for recycling rather than ending up in landfill.

Boscombe and Springbourne Health Centre is open 8am until 8pm, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. Appointments can either be pre-booked by phone (01202 727969) for registered patients; or urgent walk-in appointments are available throughout the opening times by coming to the health centre.
